On Saturday, April 6, 2024, the community was invited to see the NEW Vida McKenzie Community Center. The Board Members were excited to share the accomplishments of nearly 3 years worth of efforts to re-build the facility after the tragic Holiday Farm Wildfire of 2020. Everyone was impressed with the new building and the hosting by the Board. Thanks to all who made the day a success.

I am so glad that I went to the Opening. Thank you, Lia for taking me there.
Thanks to all the people donated to this building.
My husband George and I moved here from Los Angeles in 1985. We fell in love the first day I stepped into this area. We bought the land then had our house built and lived here since 1985. It was very sad to lose our house our garden, then lost my husband. Now I am back in Vida and hope to re-create our beautiful garden and keep on going in this community til?
I still remember the two garden clubs I used to belong to. All the wonderful people we’ve met and made friends with(so many stories). We used to meet at the Community Center and had so many events, that was our main meeting place.
I am so glad that these good people who have the foresight to re-build this Center after the fire. Now, the new comer will have a Community Center once again and hopefully they will enjoy each other like my husband and I did.
THANK YOU.
