It was a warm afternoon but it was cool in the inside because of the great insulation.
Lots of folks came out to see the construction progress, ask questions, and enjoy the new facility. The VMCC Board Members all worked hard to prepare for the event. Photos were used to show where kitchen and fireplace equipment will be installed. Many explored the new patio area, searching for their names etched on the pavers.

The soft opening was a great event! I was so pleased to see the pavers I ordered — it makes me happy to have loved ones memorialized there. Thanks to everyone who has worked on getting the community center rebuilt, and who hosted this event.
