On June 3rd, Vida McKenzie Community Center’s Senior Center will welcome
Alan Antilla to its luncheon speaker series. Gain a better understanding of the
importance of YOUR hearing health and learn how to empower yourself
with your hearing devices so you are not left out of conversations in group
settings.
Alan has had hearing loss for the past 15 years after a long career in
broadcast audio and video. Eight years ago, he launched a company that
installs Hearing Loops in public spaces. Hearing Loops are the “gold
standard” of assistive listening systems for people with hearing loss who have hearing aids or cochlear implants. Our VMCC has installed the Hearing Loop!
Alan is a member of the Loop Oregon Committee at the Center for Hearing Access at the Shedd Institute
Social hour begins at 11:00a.m., followed by lunch ($5 donation.)
Presentation from 12:30-1:00p.m. All are welcome.
