Donations are down, we NEED your bottles and cans!
Your recyclables will continue to help rebuild our McKenzie River communities’ losses. Just when we were starting to wind down from the Holiday Farm Fire, we are faced with another fire and evacuations.
Dear Friends and Neighbors!
We are the McKenzie River Bottle Boys (and Girls) and we need your plastic, glass and aluminum 10-cent recyclable cans and bottles. Once a week we get together and sort out and redeem those donations. We need your donations because we need to rebuild the Blue River Library and Park, the Vida McKenzie Community Center and other community resources that burned down during the Holiday Farm Fire. This spring with your support those “Dime at a Time” bottles and cans have helped us return to our community resources over $100,000.
A “Dime at a Time” does make a difference.
We have collection sites in Eugene, Springfield, Thurston and Leaburg. Just bag up your bottles and cans and drop them off. We’ll do the rest.
We need your help, every single bottle and can counts.
Questions? Need a special pickup? Available to volunteer to help? Want to be a drop off center? Would rather send a check? Just call or text Pete at (707) 816-0022 or Walt at (541) 521-5900 for details.
Thank you!
